Location
The BWT land is highlighted on this map. It is open for walkers, cyclists, wheelchairs, buggies and electric mobility scooters, but not for motorcycles or horses - see the notice below. The nearest car park, which you can find by SATNAV using ME14 4EE, is at the end of Church Lane.
The main entrance (red pointer) is opposite the Bowls Club on Bearsted Church Landway (no vehicles). You can also enter beside the Church, or at the end of Sutton Street where a special kissing gate can give access for wheelchairs or scooters, explained here.And this plan shows the paths and entrances in more detail.
