Grants and Gifts

BWT is grateful for all practical help and for grants and gifts, large and small, without which the Trust could not have succeeded.
A mobile phone to facilitate contact with BWT work parties on the move was kindly donated by Kevin Reynolds, a BWT Maintenance Volunteer in memory of his uncle Mr Lionel Reynolds [formerly of Harrow] who died in July 2010. Mr Reynolds was a lover of wildlife and the countryside and his family felt the donation was something their uncle would have supported. The number is on our Contact Page.
Paths and gradients. BWT thank John Evans, of Evans and Langford Consulting Engineers, who designed routes for the paths to minimise the steep gradients involved in joining BWT land on both sides of the new bridge, and also provided technical expertise for the bridge construction. They are grateful also to Mr and Mrs Browne, who gave a strip of land to enable the widening of one of the paths. And to J.Dowle Fencing who supply wood chips for planting and paths.
