The founder trustees have decided to donate a further parcel of land to BWT for the purpose of providing off-road car parking to cope with the increasing number of visitors.
The site is on the Ashford Road, immediately to the west of the drive to Gore Cottage.
Plans are being prepared for a sympathetic countryside design with planting programme, and a planning application will be submitted in the near future.
