Bearsted Woodland Trust (BWT) protects and maintains 28 acres of woodland and meadow, restoring and enhancing a natural habitat for animals and plants and providing a place of recreation for visitors. There are a wide variety of English native trees, information boards to help identify wildlife and special gates and gentle paths for wheelchairs, baby buggies or electric scooters. Visitors are asked to respect the habitat and wildlife and to contact BWT if they witness incidents where this is not the case.
